ABT Belgium is continuously exploring new applications of EcoClearProx® mainly for determination of the disinfection capacity for various applications and launched therefore several projects or is partner in projects concerning decontamination of vegetables and fruits, treatment of process waters (e.g. in fruit sorting and handling), disinfection of storage rooms, plant protection, but also the reduction of toxin levels in oysters, combating MRSA problems in pig production, controlling and preventing Escherichia coli infections in poultry, air purification in animal breeding systems, etc.

Tasks in the Project

ABT Belgium will provide product and technology support in WP4 and WP5 allowing the Belgian research partners in this project to fulfill the tasks described in these Work Packages, and more specific the study of the disinfection and decontamination capacity of the product EcoClearProx® under various conditions. ABT Belgium will also bring in know how concerning water treatment.
